I thought I broke something some how but I looked in the reliability monitor thing, and found Adobe had installed an 'Adobe Refresh Manager', couldn't find any info on that from Adobe but it seemed official (given it was an actual program by them I already had Adobe Reader at the latest version for a few days now)

4- tried disabling automatic restart , dosnt work I booted from my USB drive again and tried everything posted above and same problem , nothing works , i cant refresh , reset or do anything else

Not sure what is causing this It started taking forever for my drives to show up under my PC Windows 8 1 64 bit all updates I click on my PC and the status bar takes a really long time I ran a disk repair, defrag, chdsk with no luck For some reason my system stopped creating restore points

The only reason I had this problem because I believed what windows says about doing a refresh It saves files in your document and any original window or approved 3rd party programs

Have decided to take the plunge to reset my computer (because Windows Store would not open) Booted from the installation disk but cannot Reset or Refresh, I get "The drive where Windows is installed is locked Unlock the drive and try again " Never used Bitlocker and chkdsk checks out OK My mind is not working on all cylinders today and unable to resolve

I am not sure DNS server issue is related to pages not loading well or at all having to refresh them Which is precisely the reason why I posted instructions on how to reset Internet Explorer? Or did you not see that? I also pointed out that resetting the router should be done first Neither of these have anything to do with DNS being the problem
