Well, last night I tried once again on my Sengean PR-D4W, walking around the yard with it, in hand, and I picked up 3 stations KDXU, KVMX ( 480 watt regional Mexican station 126 NE miles ), and KIHC ( a 5KW religious relevant radio from San Luis Obispo 165 miles south ) but no hint of WLS I doubt my RF-2200, GE super radio II or Sony ICF-EX5MK2 would do any better at this point I will not
- Can be relevant to any rock genre music stations leaving like The Sound . . .
I feel like as long as OEMs include radio in the car, it will be relevant and valuable to advertisers When you think about targeting a mass audience in a specific region, radio is still one of the best bets I see podcasts, Spotify and digital media as a completely different product, usually as a complement to radio

AM opened to the South for me (Cheyenne Wyoming) with WOAI, WWL, KRLD, KKOB, plus a whole bunch of Spanish Language stations thrown in there Little to no trace of anything up north, so It confused me at first until I realized it was an opening My new log is actually to my east, with 1260 booming in as "Relevant Radio", so likely the St Louis one or maybe Cali?

"Relevant Radio" on top of the channel with a fair signal I presume they were on day power, 5kw non-directional 361 miles Radio: C Crane Skywave Then WVHF 1140 Kentwood, MI (Grand Rapids area) Also Catholic radio Good signal, and all over WRVA 5kw daytimer with a directional pattern favorable to me 147 miles Also with the C Crane Skywave
