At my last coolant change I connected a vacuum pump to the hose going to the reservoir and pumped some air out of the system a few times The hoses collapsed some, released and added more coolant Repeated this a few times Added fresh coolant to the reservoir The burp was done with the vacuum pump

Just did a coolant change Drained from the lower hose at the bottom of the radiator Refilled, and got about 2 5 quarts in (a bottle and a half of Honda coolant) Put the cap on, put the tank on, and ran it for about 3 minutes (occasionally twisting the throttle) to "burp" the system Took
- cant bleed the clutch. . what gives? is slave cylinder done?
last thing to do on the bike was change the clutch hose to a longer hose since I raised the handle bars drained the reservoir, removed the hard line, installed the spiegler line, went to bleed the line and nothing is coming out of the bleeder screw doesn't matter if I do it manual or
- Removing 1300 coolant hoses and bypassing heat flow in. . .
I slid it on and completed that Vacuum pump to empty the coolant reservoir Return hose at pump removed, used county water to give it a good rinse After that I rinsed it with "Distilled" water, cranked it briefly I added concentrated prestone yellow jug 2 quarts and one quart distilled water

Hi Everyone! I just did a total fluids change on my 2003 VTX 1800 including the coolant I followed YouTube and everything online Drained the coolant at the drain plug, cleaned out the reservoir, filled it with new Pro Honda Type 2 coolant and burped the system just like it said Nothing

Keep an eye on the reservoir level, do not let it drop enough to expose the inlet Once the old is purged, all you need to do is to put the float board back on top of the fluid in the reservoir and add enough fluid to float that board up to the full line; replace the rubber expasion seal and then the cover with screws

Mity-Vac was a cheap add to my workshop - $30 from a Pep Boys store not far from me, bled my clutch and brakes very well (but watch how quickly it sucks fluid from the reservoir - had to use alot of fluid when I wasn't paying enough attention and air got to the intake in the front brake MC All the best
