Rhino 660 would run for a couple minutes, then start dyeing and backfiring Tried cutting a 1 4" off the hose in the tank to ensure its not locking itself to the tank, replace fuel filter, cleaned the air cleaner, and still had the issue

The Rhino uses a vacuum fuel pump, the engine must be spinning to pump fuel Since the carburetor is empty the engine will need to spin several times before the pump delivers enough fuel to the carburetor to start, do not use the throttle when starting

The Rhino charging system does not seem to be working You will need to check the stator for proper AC voltage output and no continuity to ground If that is OK at around 20 Volts AC (engine running), then you will need to check the R R output which should be near 13 5 to 14 Volts DC (engine running) There are numerous threads on this subject
