I just got a 2008 Rhino 700 It is great but it will be used mostly for farm work and I did not know that the rear diff was locked all the time before I bought it I would like to change it to a open differential with a locker similar to the front I have searched a lot and I have not found

Looking around, I see a lot of problems with starting and idling rough 90% of the time it's a dirty carb As soon as I got my Rhino home the first thing I did was remove the carburetor bowl and clean the jets It's a 30 min process and makes a huge difference It can easily be done without

Rhino 660 would run for a couple minutes, then start dyeing and backfiring Tried cutting a 1 4" off the hose in the tank to ensure its not locking itself to the tank, replace fuel filter, cleaned the air cleaner, and still had the issue

The Rhino charging system does not seem to be working You will need to check the stator for proper AC voltage output and no continuity to ground If that is OK at around 20 Volts AC (engine running), then you will need to check the R R output which should be near 13 5 to 14 Volts DC (engine running) There are numerous threads on this subject
