Rivian scored poorly on their reliability metric, but scored very high on their customer satisfaction metric We had about 5 "issues" we found after delivery that took a long time to address Mostly because I was waiting for a closer service center to open up

Rivian just made it THAT much harder for the congressional delegation from GA to vote away any subsidies for cars, or to claw back money from loans to Rivian With about 8,000-10,000 people employed in the state with good paying jobs spread across 2-3 congressional districts, that's enough to make the representatives think 2x about any job

Rivian probably could have done something similar for the Trimotor and dual max by dropping the price for both (say ~$5k) and raise the lower models more (~$1K on Dual large) Also I still say Rivian needs to introduce stripped down "Pro" model based on the standard R1T with a single motor around $60K for 2026
