Are the individual conductors inside a piece of 14 2 or 12 2 Romex cable THHN or THWN type? What about those inside of an 8-3 or 6-3 Romex?

Does anyone know of a romex connector that can be installed from the inside of an EXISTING junction box I can't access the outside of the box without opening up the drywall, and the wires are coming in KO's without romex connectors

What kind of wire would be the best for this installation? I am running yellow 12-2 for everything power so I thought I would run white 14-2 for 0-10 Would 14-2 romex be acceptable to be ran in a switch box?

In the code book it says that you can install Romex if permitted as a Type 3, 4 or 5 building, but if it is permitted as a type 1 building you can not install Romex Although IF the building can be a type 3,4 or 5 building you can in fact install Romex Can someone interpret this code 334 for me?

Re: limit for using romex on apt building Starting with the 2002 NEC, there is no limit to how many floors NM can be installed See section 334 10 for specific permitted uses of NM cable Prior to this edition, NM was restricted to 3 floors You may also want to check for local restrictions Places like Chicago don't permit NM cable in any structure
