- Rp1000 vs Rp500 - The Gear Page
Started out looking into a Boss ME 80 then a GT 1000 Two friends that don't know each other convinced me to take a serious look at the Rp500 and while searching and reading reviews I have come across the Rp1000 Sweetwater has a "sweet" deal on financing till the end of the month so looking
- RP1000 owners: any reliability issues? - The Gear Page
To clarify the RP1000 issues of which I'm familiar well: The XLR issue is a flaw right from the get-go and not a reliability issue Many of the units came out with a problem where if the phantom power is on, you will have the volume issue and it's too much to be fixed by trying to control via the volume on the PA mixer
- HD500 vs RP1000 - The Gear Page
The RP1000 has a better reverb, and don't get me wrong, its amp models are really good, only the HD500's are better The HD500 has dual signal chains and allows you to stack OD pedals which is absolutely invaluable, as is its ability to use pre-gain EQ
- Digitech RP1000 thoughts - The Gear Page
Anyone have this? do you like it, hate it etc I was trying one out in GC and it seemed pretty good but i also like a similar unit from Zoom
- Rp1000: Post your user patches - The Gear Page
I just picked up an RP1000 and I'm having a lot of fun with it Is there a place on the web that Users list their custom made patches? Please post a couple of your favorites here so TGP'ers can try them out I will as well when I dial-in some good ones Thanks in advance!
- For Those Using the RP1000 Direct as well as 4CM - The Gear Page
I have a question for those that use the RP1000 direct Can you use both sets of outputs (1 4" and XLR) at the same time for sending to FOH and to monitors personal monitors? Also for those that use the 4CM with their amps or preamps Do you notice any loss or degradation in tone or feel with
- Digitech RP1000 - Tone Request (Metallica) - The Gear Page
IMO the amp modelling on the RP1000 is good, but like most digital technology, amp modelling is improving rapidly every generation and the RP doesn't really compare to the newer units on the market The programming matrix on the RP units can be tough to grasp at first but I prefer it over sorting through menus on the POD
- DigiTech RP1000 vs. Line 6 POD HD400 - The Gear Page
I have an RP1000 - used to have Line 6 stuff but discovered I like the Digitech modelling and effects better My playing is mostly low to mid gain, love the 77 Master Volume and the Soldano RP1000 is an excellent choice - but as DRS says, the HD500 is a much closer match than the HD400
