The MSFS SDK doesn't have separate left and right axis events The MSFS controller assignments exist in parallel to the SDK, these are completely separate "logics" The names of some items sound similar in both, but they are not related IIRC, there is an automated split feature in AAO for the rudder, so you can use it with a game pad Try just assigning the rudder axis event to your two axis
