    The sdi is the 600ho motor with fuel injection So if you have ridden the 600ho then you wont notice much difference except the sdi will run alot better in all temps etc, and much much better mpg and smoother I've owned many 600ho carbed, and many sdi's including an 08 sdi's and you should definitely pick the sdi over the carbed version
