The newer SG Standards (T) don't have the horn tapering or the deeper wider beveling between the horn tip and neck The HP version have retained the wider deeper bevels, and the horn tapering Why they make 2 different body spec's, I don't know, unless some prefer the shallower narrower beveling, and no horn tapering

My Epi SG Junior came in this afternoon shipped in its case, Its beautiful, wasn't set up at all though Had to tighten the strings, adjust the truss, bridge height, set the intonation The graph tech nut Is good, medium jumbo frets are good with no burs on the edge, the l aurel fingerboard is dry, the slimtaper C fe els very good, does have a bit of neck dive but the SG Junior is very light

The 90's one is called the All-American SG-I it was a remake of the 70's one In 98 Gibson added a pickguard and painted it in new colors and called it the SG-X The guitar came in Fireburst and Black It has a Gibson 500T in the bridge, 24 frets, Coil Tab, and 1 Volume and 1 Tone

My 2019 SG Gibson has 9-46 strings from the factory as original I put on 10-46 strings and have found that I lost that SG bite sound on the E, B and G strings when on the Bridge pickup which I mainly use, it just sounded darker, no bite, so back to 9-46 strings for me
