Hi all I recently acquired a 2013 535i that needs a little tlc One of the issues is the driver restraint system code 930958 as read by bluedriver It is described in that app as "ZK15: active headrest driver :resistance to big" So far I have replaced the battery, checked the plugs and wiring

Wow! Thanks for sharing this BMW has way to many different airbag modules and often a code may be stored on one of the other modules Having a good scanner that can read codes from all the modules is the key What you describe is not very common but I am sure other people will have the same problem Your post can save someone a lot of headaches and money For those dealing with airbag light

When any of the MRS SRS sensors or electrical connectors are disconnected while the car is powered they will register a fault which will require a dedicated tool that can reset the MRS SRS system

I had the SRS issue and C110 showed bad mat I bought the mat and belt emulator from blshop on ebay It worked like a champ but then it threw a 9AFF code I tried the resistor fix for the battery cable as described A 2 ohm resistor did not work for me, but a 1 ohm 10V resistor DID work! Now, no lights Finally!!

In my case, the Peake SRS scan tool pointed to the "passenger seat occupied" sensor As a lark, I unplugged and plugged the two connectors on the sensor module at the bottom rear of the seat

Option 2: Fix the problem I have searched over the holiday but I am not find specifics on the problem beyond they SRS flash code listing that states that al 5-X,6-X,7-X, and 8-X are "Internal failure of the SRS Unit" The SRS unit flash code list does not link to troubleshooting procedures like other flashcode directories

The SRS and other sub system codes don't show with the fuse box short When I traced out that OBDII plug short mentioned , one pin to ground , one pin to EPS power steering ?

Taking the car to either a BMW dealership or indy that has the proper tool to reset the SRS (supplemental restraint system) Or if you have the correct (I believe Peake) tool to reset the SRS The airbag light reset isn't a simple one do to the safety importance of the airbag system
