- Can DTC codes be read for SRS trouble shooting?
The SRS communicates on the H-Line with Honda diagnostic tools or the OBDIIC C The OBDIIC C can clear SRS codes (Assuming the fault has been rectified of course ) The OBDIIC C can't (as yet) display the srs fault codes directly, but it can activate the blink mode and you can read the blink codes As Mudder notes the light could be disabled but I don't like that idea either

My dad replaced the battery in his 2005 Z4 2 5 and when he turned the car on the first time, the airbag light in the dash came on He drove like this for about a month or so before I finally got over there to check it out I used PA Soft to go in and check things out in the SRS menu and found

My SRS light came on and the local Honda dealership say the unit needs replacing They need to hire a tool from Honda to enable them to do this although it is a simple job at only 20 minutes Cost of Module Kit - £748 51 + VAT and fitting Total cost £926 99 !! Just wondered if there might be a loose connection that could trigger the SRS light

The SRS and other sub system codes don't show with the fuse box short When I traced out that OBDII plug short mentioned , one pin to ground , one pin to EPS power steering ?
