Are there any advantages to one vs the other? From a geometry perspective (not my best subject in school ), it would seem for a blade of the same size, shape and spine thickness (like say a 22" thick ASH-1), that the blade just above the edge would be thicker on a saber grind than on a full height flat grind (but maybe not enough to make a noticeable difference?) Sabre grinds are stronger than full height grinds, significantly so, but they are not more efficient materials wise You can get the same level of strength with a greater level of cutting ability in a slightly thicker stock with a full height grind

I doubt a sabre grind would cause much trouble, i've just never had a knife with a sabre grind so i'm interested in how it compares with the grind i've used most of the time (been testing a flat grind with a secondary convex recently (enzo pk70) I don't have much experience with other grinds except for the scandi scandi-vex

A great review of a great knife I really like my several Delicas I have a Delica 4 Sabre Grind with stainless steel handles Extremly tough fella! The Endura Delica line in general is highly recommended , at least from myself
