My guess is Yahoo's owners have simply quit investing in the platform AOL pages, owned by the same company perform just as dismally AOL and Yahoo were owned by Verizon, but the slowness seems to coincide with the sale to a new ownership group that simply doesn't want to invest in dying platforms

I have a yahoo account that basically is a throw away account However, there are time when I have to log into it I never remember the password so i basically reset any time i use log in I get the code sent to my gmail account You have to enter the code to get access and you need the code to get access to yahoo email
