My USB printer scanner does not show in the list of printers but the scanner does show in the scanners section If I go to old style control panel devices and printers, the device shows in the Unspecified section with the following details The device works absolutely fine with all programs

By the way the issue seems to be isolated to Control Panel's Devices and Printers, as well as Printers Scanners in the Windows 10 settings You can manage the devices in print management without an issue, so it's just those 2 interfaces that seem to be affected

I've tried antivirus scanners To me it looks as though my data may still be there It shows up as D: now instead of C: and in a Hirens recovery boot mode it says the drive is healthy 150GB but it no longer says its formated NTFS so I can't get to it to manipulate it in any way Anyone have anything else I can do to recover?
