Here is an "example" of what you can do using a combination of WMI an netsh exe to enumerate the wired network adapters, show their ip configuration and redirect the output to a log file for each wired adapter i'm sure you'll figure out the extra customisations you want from there Hope this helps Cheers Matt :)

Two ideas One is to have statements that echo somthing indicating where you are in the program I run VBScript programs at a command prompt using cscript, and PowerShell scripts in the PowerShell command window, so such messages do not interrupt the program Another idea is to use Internet Explorer to display an interactive message box that continually updates I have VBScript and PowerShell

I think the best way to determine that a user has logged on is to have a logon or logoff script save a file into a shared folder The file should have a unique name for each user, and have the Distinguished Name of the user so another program can read the file and quickly bind to the user object Then a process needs to run continously looking for new files in the shared folder WMI has
