- If SeatGuru is no longer updated, what website is recommended for . . .
Thank you for your interest in SeatGuru Currently we are not making additional updates to our content on the site and are unable to provide other support -SeatGuru I guess they just weren't making money off of it, and decided not to put any more money into it
- RIP SeatGuru. . . - Rick Steves Travel Forum
Thanks for sharing the official word about Seatguru Just checked Seatmaps for a seat I just sat in, and their data is incorrect (AF777-300, 4-class, 39C) for that seat AF wishes those seats were 18" wide, and for 39C the pitch is about 6 feet, as it's an exit row Seatmaps lists it at 32", which they say is the pitch for all of economy
- Most comfortable airlines (seats) - Rick Steves Travel Forum
I would imagine they all use pretty much the same planes with an inch or two difference I do use seatguru com all the time and have definitely been steered away from the really bad seats (those that don't recline, etc ) but mostly the remaining seats are all the same Being from Atlanta we use Delta almost exclusively
- Condor A330 details, anyone? - Rick Steves Travel Forum
PS-- seatguru is defunct does not show the a330 plane for condor Posted by JenS Seattle, WA 09 02 23
- Reminder SEATGURU has not been updated since ~2019 so do not expect it . . .
I know there is an old 2022 thread about this but I thought I would bubble it up to the top as SeatGuru info is Very Out of Date now And there is nothing to indicate that on their website I only noticed it as it was missing a particular plane for a carrier I wanted to check out the seat chart prior to possibly buying a ticket on that flight
- Anyone else use Seat Guru? - Rick Steves Travel Forum
SeatGuru ("SG") is a VERY useful resource I'd never dream of booking any flight without checking it But it's far from perfect, and does have limitations that any user should be aware of There are also other good (often better) sources for info A lot of the info on SG may be out of date Airlines change their planes all the time
- Lufthansa Business Class--which aircraft type - Rick Steves
Note that Lufthansa has multiple (different) cabin configurations (according to SeatGuru; aeroLOPA only shows a single configuration, which looks like the most recent variant) Lufthansa's own seat map is probably accurate, but aircraft swaps do happen Hope that helps
- CPAP on Turkish Air - Rick Steves Travel Forum
Does anyone have experience using a CPAP on Turkish Air 350-900? Taking business class, very excited, but did not receive a clear answer from the airline if I can plug in my unit at my seat or must buy an expensive portable battery?
