The last time I was on the Shogun (7-day early June) I was in stateroom #9 which was a little tight and noisy It is, IMHO, all a personal choice as to which is the best I generally like to be somewhere near the middle as it's away from the engines and it seems to be a more stable ride, but again, that's my personal preference

This will be my 3rd year on the same SoA 8-day trip this September, and this year I managed to get a dear friend an invite as well I've also done a few 3-Day trips on her I'm just off of a Shogun 8-Day and will leave in a few weeks for an 8-Day on the Indy, which I haven't been on before Personally I prefer the SoA over the Shogun or the Excel
