My America Angler trip was canceled due to weather last Sunday, so I took a spot on the Shogun this week Left the dock around 10ish and headed out west The weather forecast was a bit off, but we went farther west than anticipated and met up with 9-10 other boats

The last time I was on the Shogun (7-day early June) I was in stateroom #9 which was a little tight and noisy It is, IMHO, all a personal choice as to which is the best I generally like to be somewhere near the middle as it's away from the engines and it seems to be a more stable ride, but again, that's my personal preference

Chartered the Shogun many times and remembered him picking up my pole with a AA swim bait and caught a few calicos on it The bass chewed up the swim bait and he repaired it by using his lighter and melted it back together He caught his limit on that swim bait three fold RIP
