Please help me figure out the code on my Citori 20 gauge All I can find is the number 24669 under the release lever, when I took the barrel off, the same numbers are on the inside of all the levers and the barrel, I would like to find out more on the year and grade of this gun

I am selling a model 37 in 16 ga and have been asked several times for the serial number I think I remember hearing that there was a time at the Ithaca NY plant where there were no numbers on 37s Is that correct because my 16 has no serial number?
