What I like about Skiplagged is it shows you batshit crazy routes with 4+ transfers, sometimes taking a bus from JFK to La Guardia, and then transferring in Turkey to fly into Western Europe And then the routes Google suggests are about $40 more for one transfer I still book the Google route, but I feel a lot more comfortable knowing I'm not missing out I almost never see cheaper hidden

Nothing happened when I landed, and I never got any notice from American The curiosity was killing me so I reached out to their customer service asking if I was banned and their response was to politely ask me to pay the difference for the skiplagged flight, but they would not confirm whether or not I was banned
