- Any guidance on Skraper? - RetroPie Forum
@apekop123 Skraper is rather simple to use It has a wizard where you choose what system you want to scrape (choose RetroPie or Emulationstation), point to the parent ROMs folder (\\retropie\roms) and then just hit start to scrape
- Can I make a gamelist. xml for only part of the metadata of a . . . - RetroPie
You can use Skraper on a local folder on the PC, with only the games you want to scrape Once it generates a gamelist xml file for that folder, copy over the games and their artwork to your real ROMs folder on RetroPie, then edit the RetroPie gamelist xml and add the contents of the - smaller - gamelist generated by Skraper
- Skraper region naming convention - RetroPie Forum
I'm playing around with the setting in Skraper to use a pre define list of regions to use in a specified order, in stead of trying to determine the region from the rom file One thing I cannot find is a list of the region naming conventions used by Skraper or screenscraper fr 'us' is USA of course 'wor' is world 'jp' is japan 'au' is autralia
- Scraping totally fails - RetroPie Forum
In Skraper, you can change the settings to use the windows directory and it'll still output game lists that work for retropie I just put my game lists in my rom directories, then a folder in each system for the snaps and box arts After you're done scraping, transfer your game lists and scraped media to your raspberry pi where they should go

- I Cant Scrap!!! Say there is no Rom? - RetroPie Forum
@mitu said in I Can't Scrap!!! Say there is no Rom?: What scraping source are you using ? It might be busy or restricting access to non-registered users - like ScreenScraper
- Is there an App that help me rename my roms properly for Scrape - RetroPie
You can use an external scraper that looks at the contents of the ROMs - instead of using just the file name Look into using ARRM, Skraper or Skyscraper If you still need want to rename your ROMs, a ROM manager like 'CLRMamePro' or 'RomCenter' will probably do that, but that's a bit more complicated than using one of the scrapers mentioned above
