While Smash is considered something else by Nintendo because of it being a crossover game According to the title screens, the first three games are shared by HAL and Nintendo while Smash 4 onwards is fully owned by Nintendo

If Smash 6 is getting announced then probably that it exists unless Sakurai wants to make long term announcements like in Brawl and Smash 4 If Switch 2 Edition of Ultimate is happening instead then Sakurai is probably just supervising

I think Smash for Switch 2 is going to have tons of Music with most of them being new Remixes! There should be some Tracks from Kirby Air Riders and Mario Kart World and Donkey Kong Bananza!

Seems like Smash is the only time Nintendo might give a damn about TGAs Given the cross-franchise nature of Smash, including third parties, it does make sense to reveal them there and Sephiroth was the last November December esque time to show off a Fighter's Pass character given Sora would be announced in October of 2021

Toon link is mostly more floati cause of brawl! And he was floaty in Smash 4 and Ultimate so floatiness was definitely an intentional design choice for him Perhaps it was enhanced further with Brawl's slower gameplay but if Brawl's engine was the sole reason he was floaty, he wouldn't have

Dont Smash games usually just recycle the assets from the recent games on their console? Usually they only reuse assets for stages, music, trophies, and Poke Balls Fighters, items, and ATs usually have new models made for Smash specifically, but for whatever reason Min Min and Pythra reuse their models from their home games

Like, Smash 64 was fun as all get-out to play, but not even the presence of Pikachu AND Jigglypuff in that game would have been enough to convince me to stick around for the long haul Click to expand
