I disagree, cooking wise the smithey cooks evenly with no hot spots You can check on YouTube as well a guy did a video and claimed they cook the same You can clearly see the smithey cooks the pancake evenly and the lodge cooks one side of it more quickly You can definitely cook on both but saying they cook the same is a lie

I only have a stargazer but one difference I see is the handle on the smithey looks short and is 'fully' connected to the pan One of the awesome things about the stargazer is that the handle is long and curved and connected to the pan with a 'bridge' All these things make the handle heat less slowly which means I burn my hand less frequently

I’m blown away that field smithey stargazer and butter pat started roughly around the same time and they’re all growing with different products I think stargazer is the best product overall though Their handle is actually innovative And they don’t finish the cooking surface for show, they rock tumble for an amazing season contact
