Probably just an old solder point It's pretty hard to break an input jack About two minutes with the soldering iron and it'll be like new again If you do have to replace it, no big deal either How much is a Switchcraft jack, about $8?

Hey everyone! Ive got a problem with volume pots ive used 3 now! Im doing all the soldering perfectly and following the diagram exactly but everytime, the volume just stays up, even if i turn the knob all the way up or down, the sound is just constantly on If anyone could help, that would be awes

It looks like you have 3 wires coming out of your new pickup Red, White, and a "sheild" wire Either the red one or the white one (whichever one is "ground") should be soldered along with the "sheild" wire to the back of the volume pot Then the remaining wire should be soldered to terminal 3 of the volume pot (the same terminal the original pickup wire is soldered to now) It just depends on
