I remember that the only way that I got a "good" (IMO) sound out of it was to use a Natec attenuator (an early locally made unit) on it, and just crank the amp wide open Otherwise, it sounded really raspy and fizzy It just GOBBLED tubes too - I seem to remember going through a quartet of 6L6's in a weeks time with that thing!
