I flew China southern for about 200k miles for work between 2017-2019 SFO Guangzhou, and quite a few different routes within China They are probably the best Chinese airline ( not including the HK based ones ) Pretty no frills, great economy ticket prices Food was fine, entertainment system was not the best if you expect western content

Southern has a lot of issues, primarily involving safety, qualilty of aircraft, quality of training there are a lot of things to consider if you're thinking about working for this company I will walk away with some great experience, and also some awful times
