Southwest Airlines | Rapid Rewards - Basic fare booked with points - I've read the new informationm and am still confused about a new Basic fare ticket booked with points (assuming you can) If you cancel the flight more than 10 minutes before takeoff, are your points refunded or kept?

It is common to blame these kinds of things on Southwest IT for the unfriendly web site I have come to believe that at least some of the reason is to obscure information to make it difficult for customers in order to enhance profits This is a prime example It is difficult to rebook a lower fare if you can't confirm the original price

Southwest is accelerating its de-emphasis of A-list status in favor of credit card signups If you have the card you get very little from A-list and vice versa
