My book deals primarily with the descendants of Samuel Spicer who left North Carolina with Daniel Boone and came into Kentucky in the late 1700s These Spicers settled in what wold later become Breathitt County There is an account of their Spicer ancestors in North Carolina and Virginia Included also is a copy of my mother's DAR certificate where her Spicer line was accepted
