C) I falied misserably with the melody for music - I added it to the on start but it plays first with a black screen then stops and runs the next bit of code which is the bg image…How can I do Music for Splash screen and low music for game play? I am currently updating my game to use the computer cursor via the Browser-Events extension I have a splash text appear upon clicking on a sprite I am wondering how I can hide this text after a set amount of time Ex Cursor clicks on sprite, splash text appears, wait 3 seconds, splash text hides

- Makecode Arcade stuck on splash screen
Hi As per title I have recently replaced my desktop and when I attempt to access Makecode Arcade, it hangs at the splash screen Will sit there all-day quite happily This occurs in both Chrome and Edge browsers (realise that both use the same engine) Any idea how I can troubleshoot the issue? Is there a simple way of creating an intro screen with the name of the game, instructions etc? If someone can point me to a tutorial I can share with my students that would be great! They are grade 3 and 4 so if there is a simple way of doing this, then that’s what we are after!

The code gathers all the player-enemy distances, sorts them in an array to find the shortest distance, then for each player sprite, compares it’s distance to the shortest distance in the array to find the closest player This player sprite is stored in the enemy sprite data and set as a follow target All of this happens every game update so that the enemy can register a new closest player
