I've thought about what the best starting word is for squareword Feels like it might be similar to the wordle one, but could be different with the word distrubitions For example, since many of the words are plural atm, picking a word with an s in the last space is probably useful, although it does not tell you much about the rest of the word

I agree that the way it's framed, Squareword does seem too easy The "TARGET: 15 guesses" sets entirely the wrong expectations I think 8 in Squareword is roughly comparable to a 4 in Wordle and 7 is roughly comparable to a 3 Basically, Squareword - 4 = Wordle That's not a perfect analogy, of course Maybe Squareword - 3 5 = Wordle is

A few days ago, I posted my 5x5 daily word game, squareword org, on here I was overwhelmed with the positive response and feedback Thanks guys! One of the most requested features was a dark mode Happy to say that it is now implemented! Just go into the settings icon on the top right to activate it
