The 64 is a k-frame, whereas the 686 is the larger L-frame and a bit heftier I own 2 686s and they're terrific guns, but they'd be more than I'd want to carry Unfortunately, S W no longer makes a k-frame 357mag If you want a 357 in a stainless k-frame with adjustable sights, you're looking for a used Model 66 Also a great gun
