Good morning all If I were to fit a stratocaster neck pick up in my telecaster, would it sound thin or off in the middle position as it's not rwrp like that tele neck pick up Many thanks
- Why did Fender switch to narrower string spacing?
My main "Strat" of late has vintage spacing at bridge and nut My other Strats are modern spacing, so narrower I definitely prefer the vintage spacing It's so much easier for me to play I can imagine I'm not alone Anyone know why Fender changed to "modern" narrow spacing?

I tried having a Lollar “Strat in Tele clothing” neck pickup in my Tele but after sitting with the setup a bit I prefer the original OC Duff pickups I got with the guitar The neck pickup sounds good and the middle position sounds better than with a bright Strat pickup So this has me thinking of a Strat
