I recently switched from streamlabs to streamelements and one major difference I noticed is that streamelements lacks the transparent chatbox It was a really great option to have that on SLOBS but on regular OBS, it's not so easy (Although I don't think it's impossible) Any tips on how to set up the transparent chatbox without SLOBS?

SE live (obs+streamelements plugin) let you use a bot account to "speak" your commands instead of the standard streamelements bot Same can be done with all sorts of local hosted bots (I always recommend streamer bot) However if it's actually a moderator and not a bot account that's just a very active moderator doing a very fast job

The StreamElements mobile app loads a StreamElements overlay by default You can edit this overlay and add any design or widget by opening the My Overlays page on your StreamElements dashboard and editing the one with MOBILE in its name

StreamElements uses a different wrapping for their variables: {} instead of (), so it makes sense that $(eval) would be turned into ${eval} Except it doesn't seem like StreamElements has any "eval" variable (the actual variables page requires login), hence why StreamElements just dumped it plaintext into chat
