I just got a SuperMicro H12SSL-i with an EPYC 7402P, 256GB RAM and Im running it with an EVGA SuperNova 1600P+ PSU The board, CPU and RAM came as a combo from a US seller and was pulled from a working environment First boot scared me because it took about a solid 5min for the board to do anything at all, but then it sprung to life

So here is the issue, we are using the Supermicro H11SSL-I-O with AMD EPYC 7551 and 2-8 sticks of memory, M2 SS2, and a 650W-750W power supply The system worked fine, powered on, and everything was installed setup prior to shipping out After landing, when they plug it into the power supply, all they're getting is the heartbeat LED light

Im logged into the SuperMicro box over IPMI I have set the BIOS to boot from Dual mode instead of UEFI only and put the USB drive at the top, but, depending on settings, I either get it still booting to the Windows Server OS, or just going to a black screen and sitting there indefinitely

I fixed this by create a fat32 usb device, with the bios file found on the supermicro website I renamed the file to Super ROM and placed it in the root folder of the usb device I plugged in the USB device, booted the system and it went into recovery mode automatically If not, you can hold down ctrl-home
