The SurRon is the cheap alternative It's very good value for what you get imo You can go cheaper with a DIY Alibaba stealth-bomber clone build, but it won't be the same thing (Not as good geometry swing arm design, and rear hub motor instead of mid-drive)

From what over heard, a modded ultra bee, while more expensive, is 50lbs lighter or so than a stark varg and that makes it much easier for enduro I was doing medium to difficult enduro on my stock SurRon for a long time and it was definitely pushing the limits, but the light weight made it not extremely difficult The varg does have more power and battery than anything possible for an ultra

I’d say that the SurRon also has a lot of items that need modifying to get it where you want Things like upgrades to the tires, brakes, etc are almost mandatory Upgrading the suspension is a big one too Then there’s issues with the size of the bike; unless you’re under 5’-8” you’ll probably want a seat extender and new bars
