Greetings all, I have a 1999 Hunter 310 that has a factory installed Suunto F-95 series compass Over the years, the fluid has evaporated leaked out to the point that very little fluid is left It still has enough to spin, but I would like to fill it back up I have seen a few threads

I am finally getting around to getting my compasses fixed diaphragms developed cracks and leaked all the oil out now the question of what to refill with compass repair shop sells oil at $14 50 32 oz and $9 50 16 oz to refill both i would need 24 bucks worth at the local drug store mineral

I like Suunto I'd buy a Suunto to avoid the crazing problem If it is not to bad I think you can just add mineral oil so long as the rest of the compass is OK u000bu000bI've seen two or more compasses on racing boats where you cannot easily see them all but two compasses where you can see them both makes no sense to me u000bu000bTake the one that has the least crazing fill it with oil from the
