TeraCopy is blazing fast compared to Windows Explorer (sometimes it's a matter of hours instead of days) and it's also much more stable The verification option is a valuable feature as well
- Best alternative to TeraCopy? : r DataHoarder - Reddit
As such, I am open for ideas of which makes for the best alternative to TeraCopy Can anyone recommend anything? Also, to add to the question, does anybody knows the reason why TeraCopy has been acting erratically when I "move" (drag-and-drop) files from one folder to the next, when it used to work fine previously? - Teracopy Question : r DataHoarder - Reddit
when Teracopy detects a file (s) already there it will give you options like skip, overwrite, overwrite all, skip all, etc IMO you should test 1st before such a large task I don't recall if there is a timeout then default action 🤷♂️ Teracopy is a useful superior tool I also discovered lurking on this subreddit 😍
