I'm seeing videos now of well known Bee experts like Bob Binnie talking about using Scott's Grub x for small hive beetle larvae They say it's not harmful to our bees in controlled amounts They are even talk8ng about using it in pollen patties to kill the beetles but not hurt the bees

Vita-Bee Health has received EPA approval in the US for thier extended release oxalic acid product called Varroxsan As badly as we need that product I have seen no mention of it on Beesource I would think our bee suppliers would be standing in line to get that product from them and sell it

If the EZ Nuc boxes are closed up the bees can't get in However, a determined yellow jacket worker can get in through the vent holes After opening a box and seeing a ton of YJs, I used the funnel section from some store-bought traps I had gotten earlier in the year, over the feeder holes in the top of the boxes
