Yes, mazda made some changes to the head unit in the 2025 model Nothing too drastic like the 2024 changes Starting in the 2025 models, mazda maps now receives traffic updates and other real-time information directly from mazda They probably removed Sirius (map data only, sirius satellite radio remains) for that reason, would be redundant

There was an interview with some Mazda CEO during introduction of CX-30, he was asked what he thinks about CX-30 impacting the sales of Mazda 3 The answer was, they don't care as long it's a Mazda car being sold Seems like smart business to be honest Still, it leaves hope for another normal car crossover combo for next generation
