For me a second or two is really faster I take for example the case of Forspoken back then the same source comapred them and showed that with a faster SSD on PC, the transition between the start game in menu and the game is instant and not a single cut while on PS5, it fades to a black screen of 1-2 seconds which is kinda noticeable
