I would remove whats possible with a chainsaw and use that for firewood, etc That stump will burn for days Ive burned small 12-15" stumps and they smolder for days Yours being loose from the soil may help, but root wood is very dense You may just want to get it hauled off if you cant supervise it burning

The way cool part is I can drive over the leach field and or use it for parking, no paving Runs parallel to my home 30 feet away Compared to 4" pipe this is the cats meow I would bet it is impossible for roots to clog up this system So much more area for absorption into the ground
