- 2002-05 Garage Hardtop Hoists - Ford Thunderbird forum club group 1955 . . .
My Thunderbird fits perfectly but after doing some measurements, mounting the hoist just behind the ceiling mounted garage door opener motor, I can't pull my Thunderbird back far enough to line up the hardtop with the suspended hoist I mention this for others to be sure and take measurements first before ordering it

Most common 312 Y block oil leak is unfortunately the rear main seal IMO the only replacement kit worth the time to install is from Prestige Thunderbird in California Definitely not the cheapest but in my opinion the best available Can be done with engine in the car but you need to pack a fair amount of patience
