I agree with that But it’s not just the Left, several Rs from states that have a lot of Medicaid recipients and rural areas (with already struggling hospitals) have been very vocal about it too (see Josh Hawley quotes I posted earlier) Everything though is all about power and holding onto power Not real concern about people but concerns about getting re-elected That’s why term limits

It's not just food servers that get tips though Hairdressers, manicurists, and just about all the workers at spas (waxers, massage, etc), golf caddies, cab drivers, airport guys that take your luggage, hotel bellman, casino dealers, bartenders, valet parking attendants, etc, etc A lot of those people can make a lot of money
