I'm looking to get a mattress topper to soften up my firm mattress Often there is a choice between a 2" and 3" topper, 3" being more expensive of course If the cost wasn't much difference, should you always go for 3"? I'm not looking for a huge change to my mattress, so I think a 2" could be enough to do the trick I'm also a stomach sleeper so I don't want to "sink" in too much I'm 6ft

What mattress toppers have people liked? I bought a hybrid bed but it’s too firm I don’t want a memory foam topper I don’t think I sleep hot and memory foam in my experience is meh I’m thinking of a pillow topper, but all the lists I find for “best mattress topper” are paid for by Amazon and just not reliable IMO
