- Topping Centaurus R2R DAC Review - Audio Science Review (ASR) Forum
Topping brings to the table ultra low noise, equalization and great packaging, offsetting some of the shortcomings of that technology Ultimately it can only polish that so much Fortunately, distortion levels are likely still well below audibility, sans the rolled off highs that may be audible to younger folks
- Topping B200 Monoblock Amplifier Review
As such, Topping owns the category when it comes to medium to medium high power amplification when it comes to performance Try as I might, I cannot find any faults here The product itself is also attractive, feels high quality and has proper features, sans a VU meter It is my pleasure to recommend the Topping B200 amplifier

Topping A70 Pro Headphone Listening Tests I started testing my with everyday, low impedance and difficult to drive Dan Clark Stealth headphone Even in low gain the A70 Pro drove these to almost ear bleeding levels and superb dynamics Switching to high gains provided essentially infinite headroom and extra volume

Topping has an R2R DAC coming out soon Wonder if the performance will be anything special compared to a good Delta-Sigma Also kind of curios why they made the design inconsistent with the A70 Pro with the central LCD placement, will they have a matching headphone amp that will follow?

Topping engineers' decision on 8 6 dB for Gain=Low for its unbalanced HP out is a weird choice The device should provide a 0 dB gain HP out (in unbalanced low gain mode) Perhaps they were so confident of the noise performance of their new HP amp circuits? We will have to see Amir's measurements
- Topping (class D and B) vs Arcam and Rotel (class A B)
Topping Amplifier->Speaker output->Passive subwoofer Or if you have an active subwoofer with Speaker level input: Topping Amplifier->Speaker output->Active subwoofer If you have an active subwoofer with only Line input, then you will have to connect it upstream of the Topping Amplifier

Topping has that written (as A weighted noise) in their official spec You don't need to wait for Amir's measurements And the higher noise level is probably due to higher output level (2 5V instead of 2V, so the DAC noise is amplified) in low gain, which is also written in their official spec
