We trout fish a local stream year round now but it’ll be nice to dunk some worms in the coming weeks Only time we ever keep trout is usually late September to early October The stockies taste better the longer they’re in the stream We don’t eat much, maybe 3-4 times a year

There's plenty of trout and Salmon in Western MA and in the Berkshires Check mawildlife However, most people prefer to fish for bass and pike More action and better fight But trout through the ice are excellent to eat Small tackle and a lot of patients will prevail
