If you just accidentally close a sticky note instead of deleting it, you can reopen it in the Sticky Notes app Simply open the Sticky Notes app, look at your sticky notes list, find the sticky note you want to reopen, then right-click on it and select "Open Sticky Note" You can also double-click a sticky note to pin it to the desktop

It's happening to me aswell, also I noticed that using the new app (the one linked to onenote) my account works Old app + main account doesn't work, old app + any other different (business or personal) account works I really don't like using the new app as the notes' background colour is really bothering while using dark theme And also the fact that whenever you open the app it doesn't go

There is new sticky notes app (new) like new outlook, teams and so on I guess MS approach is replace the old sticky notes with new version without investing time and money in old one It somehow landed automatically on my machine, picked "legacy" sticky notes entries, so i'm using it now
