A real world 115-120 mph cruise speed with a stock Rotax 912 ULS would be achieveable Your takeoffs and landings would be slightly longer than a stock Highlander Troy could tell the difference, but an average pilot couldn't tell And you would still be the STOL pilot everyone talks about at the airport

Check the SB on that one, I thought it was recommend change on ULS engines or 5 years and mandatory for certified engines I'd throw that pump in the trash quickly, some forums showed failures blocking the fuel flow to the engine rendering the electric backup pump useless

I'm a new member, about 1 year into construction of an escapade with a Rotax 912 ULS I added the foam filler around the elevator tunnel, but also added a 1 8 layer of lexan on top of the foam so my knee wouldn't dent the foam when I crawl back to the cargo compartment

Steve has 110 HP which is different than my 100 ULS A friend of Steve's tried the Prince on his 100 hp ULS Highlander and it climbed out heaps better and cruised a wee bit faster than his Kiev

I know the chances are slim but in the off chance does anyone have the rotax 912 ULS and more importantly the mounts sitting in their workspace idle that they could spare for two weeks?

I am pointing this out because some of the fuel system design on my aircraft was mandated by the government representative in Canada This is what I learned: The 912 ULS schematic shows the requirement for a fuel return line to the main fuel tank;
